17. We only do it to the other guys

Seems to me we were told years ago that the CIA only spread disinformation and spied on people in other "bad" countries to help undermine the "bad" governments there. Then we find out the CIA/NSA/FBI are spying on us here at home. So, if the CIA/NSA/FBI are willing to torture "bad" people in other countries how long will it before Dick Cheney (or someone like him) declares it necessary to torture people here at home?
