As for the idea that human rights are not "written in the sky," does he believe in God?

Does he think the Pope should determine what human rights are innate to us?

His statement about human rights sounds like he is a relativist.

And as far as torture goes, does he think that the ISIS' ideas or the NAZIs' ideas about what does and does not qualify as torture should be OK in their societies?

I think the man is losing his mental capacity, his mind in the literal sense. I wonder whether he is well.
