4. i think a lot of people feel lost…or at loose ends

and it's a dangerous to place to be. this is exactly the kind of (generic, economic) "depression" that can usher in reactionary leadership.

people need to see that these things you mention WILL get better -- and there's plenty of low information american voters who'd gladly hand the country over to a Ted Cruz if they thought he'd deliver change.

i seriously doubt we can win a national election with more of the same of Obama-style governing, which is what Hillary will be -- and will be perceived as (best case).

and yes, this is exactly the right place to work these things out. they're the thoughts that keep us up at night, i know!
