Bush’s support hinges, in part, on whether former GOP nominee Mitt Romney decides to make a third run for the White House. Romney was the top choice for 19 percent of Republicans and GOP-leaning independents, while Bush received 14 percent in a new McClatchy-Marist poll. Gov. Chris Christie (R-N.J.) and former Gov. Mike Huckabee (R-Ark.) won 9 percent of the vote, while conservative neurosurgeon Ben Carson rounds out the top five with 8 percent.

For the Democratic field, Hillary Clinton is of course ahead,

On the other side of the ticket, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is the far and away favorite for Democrats, with 62 percent of Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents supporting her candidacy. Vice President Biden won 11 percent of the vote, followed by Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s 9 percent and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders’s 4 percent.
