Works for CPS in Colorado. The religious side of this mess almost entirely comes from parents who think that they have a "god given right to raise their children as they see fit". In fact, the worst abuse she ever had to deal with was from a father who thought his son was "acting gay" and the behavior had to be beaten out of him before this poor kid damned himself to hellfire.
