(24,857 posts)that this stodgy, stale group isn't worth listening to!!! My goodness, I thought, there's no purpose to this program at all other than rehashing old ideas. Every panelist, with the exception of Keith, seemed to be sleepwalking their way through the discussion like robots. And that's why Keith's objection to Noonan was so satisfying. I'm glad he didn't let that comment go by. Clearly, no one else on that stodgy panel would have even thought of how outdated her remark was -- they seem to be running on automatic without thinking.
Only Keith was a breath of fresh air -- the few times he was given a chance to speak. And speaking of his minimal participation, I noticed every camera shot of the entire panel was done in a way that Keith was hidden.
But I'm glad that he was given the opportunity. I couldn't help thinking how ironic it was that Stephanopoulus, an ex-member of Clinton's presidency, was the first to give Keith some airtime on a political discussion, considering the fallout between Keith & Al Gore.
