Trying to make executions more "humane" has made them less so.

Just shoot them in the head or use a mechanical guillotine or something that's guaranteed to be fast and efficient. Or don't do it at all. It's not that hard, people have been doing clean executions for centuries. They weren't afraid of seeing blood, which seems to be the primary reason they do this injection crap.
