Brings back memories for me... I was in Key West during the Cuban missile crisis and had moved from New England to and from Key West. It was a terrible time, I was young but I'll never forget it... the frequent nuclear nightmares of war and destruction many of us had were seemingly universal. We were a terrorized people then and you are right about the restart in 2001.
