I don't usually post these but then again I don't usually see alerts these absurd. I was one of the "no explanation" people.

Incorrectly (and racistly?) labels shooter a terrorist. Thread distract from real issue of police violence on black men. Jingoistic. Disrespectful to victims of police violence and has no place on DU.

Explanation: Random violence is a terrorist act, so that part is true. The perpetrator was a terrorist. It's not a race, it's a tactic. There is no one "real issue" when it comes to violence in our country. We are reaching some sort of critical mass wherein violence is almost the first reaction. To illustrate how one family suffers does not diminish the suffering of other victims.
