>Take up only one seat for yourself. Your backpack, shopping bag, giant handbag, other handbag, and lunchbox don't get a seat unto themselves; condense your carry-ons as much as possible and put the lot on your lap or the floor in front of you.
>The seats at the front are reserved for mobility impaired or the visually impaired. Pay attention, and move away from those seats when someone who actually needs them shows up.
>Kindly use earbuds to listen to your "music". Also turn down the volume.
>When it's time to board, please have your fare or fare-card ready. Fumbling for your method of payment while there are people waiting to get on slows everyone down.
>If you are a standee and have a backpack, please be mindful of how much space it takes up; you may want to carry it.
>If you are a standee and are using earbuds, lower the volume enough so you can hear when other passengers trying to get off say "excuse me".
>For sit-down passengers (especially men), remember to close your legs. This is public transit and space is at a premium. Save the splayed legs for the sofa at home.
