(75,480 posts)and show it on Christmas day. The bigger chains are still undecided. However,
they never stopped the ads for it to open on Christmas Day. Betcha those bigger chains change their minds by tomorrow. I agree. It's starting to look like a big PR stunt to promote a mediocre movie.
If this turns out to be fact, I think Sony should be brought up on charges for stirring up a crisis and possible war with North Korea.
Also, I was listening to a computer tech show over the weekend and one of the techie hosts doubted North Korea had the capability to do this kind of hack and pointed to Russian hackers as probably having a good laugh and the ability to make it look like the hack happened on one of North Korea IPs. When this ruse happens, it supposedly is impossible to trace it back to the original servers. Now I'm not very tech savvy, so if you want to correct me feel free. I'm only repeating what I remember that I thought I heard.
So was it clever Russian hackers or Sony itself promoting a movie with an international incident?
