(17,199 posts)In the first case, a movement -- "Black Lives Matter" -- has been blamed for the killer's actions.
In the second case, no group was blamed for the killer's actions, despite the fact that the killer had been part of a group -- Cliven Bundy's Militia -- that had been threatening law enforcement.

In the first case, protesters against police brutality, Mayor Bill de Blasio, President Obama, liberals are said to have "blood on their hands."
In the second case, it was a lone wolf; the far-right that actually incited the violent act was given a pass. No one said they had "blood on their hands" when in fact they did.

In the first case, there has been outrage and explosive media coverage.
In the second case, there was silence for the most part.
