I can't tell you how often I just want to lay down, close my eyes, and give up on it all, but to do so now would just be silly!! All I have to do is get a couple wounds healed, and then figure out how to walk on a prosthetic leg.
That's it!!
I've had the device on, and it does indeed feel rather like an extension of my natural leg. Problem is, they don't want me walking on it until I can get a study cast put on my other leg. It can be bi-valved (cut in half) to make cleaning my wounds easier, but nonetheless my surgeon wants it. But do I know just who the hell is going to actually do this now? Of course not! But as with all other challenges, I will await the passage of the Holidays, and then someone is going to connect to someone on the phone and we're going to get this DONE, once and for all!
