49. I could be wrong but I don't think either has addressed THIS aspect of the story

I think their focus has been on the details of the tragedy ... what happened (Brinsley going to Baltimore and shooting his ex-girlfriend, then taking a bus to Brooklyn, shooting and killing the officers, then killing himself in the subway station), Brinsley's criminal history, biographies of and tributes to officers Ramos and Liu, the outrage over the executions, and yes the inflammatory rhetoric of many on the right.

But I don't think they had done a story challenging that rhetoric. (It's been only a few days since the killings, and there has been so much to cover about this story.)

So perhaps after the holidays, when MSNBC resumes its regular programing, Rachel and Lawrence will take up challenging that inflammatory rhetoric as you have so wonderfully done. I hope they do because it needs to be done.
