I used to carry a rescue knife everywhere I went to as a paramedic... since I used it in well Rescue... it was a long blade, we still have it. It is dang useful when we go hiking.

I get a police officer packing all the time.

A FEW CCW holders have more than enough reason to not just qualify but pack at all times... but the number of these issued is well above actual need.
