It sounds as if it is for people in the last stages of life, bedridden, not a viable solution for most of us. Even if it was, the breathing complications listed could be fatal and I doubt that many doctors would prescribe it. At this point, my doctor has thrown her hands up. I'm giving up insurance for next year as I've given up too.

Too true! I suffer from small fiber sensory neuropathy, the most painful form of neuropathy.

2nd, I have MS, pain is often a feature of that, and there is nothing I can change to make it stop.
