9. The middle one

People did vote to send billions to the middle east. It was the 2002 election, and I remember distinctly Bushco making it a referendum on their "War on Terror". It was clear that if the repubs won we would be going to war in Iraq. And they did it again in 2004.

And...people voted against health care in 2010. It was the big issue then. So yes, people are voting for more war and less care. They may be completely under the control of the propaganda machines, but that's what they are voting for. They'll even say so and be proud of it.
