7. for some reason police act like they are some members of a nation

or some other group they were born into .

when they are employees who made the decision to take that job which most reasonable person knows will involve dealing with shitty people and really shitty situations. they get paid by taxpayers for the job they do.

yet it seems like low level employees working in fast food and other places have higher standards with how they are supposed to behave while on the job.

even the US military doesn't get the same kiss ass treatment. and there isn't the defensiveness you see when it comes to police. take sexual assault in the military as an example. you aren't seeing people try to claim dealing with the issue is accusing all soldiers of sexual assault.

why are police treated in such a way as others are not ? and they certainly view themselves as victims. this is why the problem is so deep and will be tough to deal with. unlike the Military and sexual asasult there isn't even the acknowledgement there are problems within the police departments.
