(3,426 posts)Setting aside the first 60 or so post most of which are all about Ryan on the 22nd through to the 23rd. Dec. Than a pause in it ,picking back up again on the 26th according to date time on DU.
DU as you know has very cool knowledgeable people some of which are professionals such as attorney's and other such professions many of whom at times offer considerable insight into circumstances which come into happening through current events.
But not in the field of question here as to Darin Wilson's lack of remorse as seen on TV. Now, here I will take the leap and bring in the case of Susan Smith who did indeed appear to be a sociopath -a lier and terrible at passing those lies off over the television
air waves. That case is actually a case reference at that time unique because for the first time on national/international television
what was well known in the field of television journalism became clear to view to the average eye of the television audience.
You see,Susan Smith in her head as she spoke thought she was putting her fabricated story out there believably.Through her mouth she was saying one thing and her body language and facial features were speaking something entirely different. In fact even her words were laced with tell tale signs, red flags they call that in a specific field of profession.
If you have ever belonged to a drama club you would know exactly what I am getting at. Or even the glee club back at your old school.Actors you see are trained or taught to act in front of the camera, being photogenic isn't all there is to it.You see even an actor who is inexperienced acting in front of the camera, example, stage actor crossing over to the big screen or television ,can and will at times come across in the exact opposite of what and whatever it is they are attempting to portray in character. Therefore in order to make the crossover in what will or would seem to be a smooth transition ,there is a learning or relearning process involved.
Now, television journalist for a very long time have been completely aware of what the camera can and will show and in particular about truthfulness regarding he or she who is being interviewed. Investigative reporting in many cases is actually shared with police agencies before it is aired because of what can and sometimes does show in through the lens unbeknown
to he or she who has been interviewed. What comes out.
Well, given this surely you know Darin Wilson was prepped by his legal team and the topic here I am on has much to do with the preparation procedure,PR plan and all that legal stuff. You didn't detect any remorse because he was instructed and prepped not to show anything.Because anything you say through show can and may very well be used against you in a court of law.
Does that include the court of public opinion ?
I think not but in the case of Susan Smith, those of the public that saw her as she was seen on TV knew exactly what they saw and further came to know the law saw it too in just the same way. Again it is a unique case.A landmark case. But out of that the cat as they say is out of the bag or the secret about what the camera shows is no longer a secret.
Dare I say there is more to this than meets the eye ?
As far as pronouncing guilt or passing judgment ,that is for the courts to decide. As to Darin Wilson's condition-is he or isn't he a psychopath or sociopath -,to date I haven't seen anything in print by professionals in the field to support those allegations.
Which means I cannot say if he is or isn't. What I can say is a young life was lost and thats a tragedy . And having taken a life is something Darin Wilson will have to live with for the rest of his life.
Life as Darin Wilson knew it is over ,his career in law enforcement is over. But of course I cannot offer evidence to support that of an opinion.
