(34,648 posts)The point is that it goes for everybody because the majority says so.
Do you know how much work goes into getting an afro turned into silky locks?
For me, 2 hours and I cannot get it wet.
My sister? 5 fucking hours!! Her hair is down to her butt.
For people who do NOT have naturally long hair like ourselves? 8 hours and 500 - 2000 dollars for a weave. I used to lay tracks for people, glue or sewn. The hair is over 100 dollars per bag and it takes multiple bags of hair. Then you have to braid synthetic hair in cornrows in a pattern so that the hair falls properly, leaving out enough hair in the front to cover the tracks. Then you sew or glue them in carefully. How is that the same for everybody?!?! Not the same for us. If the majority had to do all that to get a job, they'd change the rules.
