[font color="navy" face="Verdana"]Just read the article below about how we sometimes inadvertently hurt our own credibility by opining on an event before evidence is available.
Obviously, in post #1 and some subsequent above, I was guilty of jumping to conclusions, as many among the public did in both directions.
The author is absolutely right.
As emotional and horrifying as recent events have been, it's always wise to take a step back and breathe, and wait for actual evidence before drawing conclusions. Otherwise, we hurt our own credibility in our fight against police racial bias and brutality.
