10. I have a couple friends who scoff at anything on Wikipedia

They use the standard Limbaugh argument that since anyone can edit it, there's nothing but liberal lies on the site. Since they don't understand that newbies are subject to review before final edit, I usually challenge them by offering them $20 if they can change any article of their choosing by the next day.

That denial of proven fact is what led to Conservepedia, a parallel universe where those on the right can read about how Darwin seriously doubted his own theories and FDR set back the economic recovery by years:
