That doesn't make it any less valid. Hard for the Dems to argue that a Repub congressman should be run out of town for speaking to a white supremacy crowd (which he may or may not have realized was the case) 12 years ago when the longest serving Dem senator -- who served until 2010 -- was an actual KKK member in his early days.
