1. That's what happened in the 1990s

Companies did very well, the labor market tightened (our unemployment rate is still falling, and is technically what's defined as "full employment&quot , and wages rose. I know it kills a lot of DU narratives to say that the NAFTA-era economy was good, but it was in fact really good for workers, just about the only time in the last 40 years that was.

Now, we need to get back fully to the Clinton-era tax rates (we've gone back somewhat, but not all the way), but once we do that things will be even better.
