3. TSA and Homeland "Security' need to go away.

Homeland security for blatant redundancy. TSA for focusing on passenger intimidation. Look, if liquids were dangerous we would have had at least one trash barrel at a TSA station explode in the past ten years. Airline security has been left up to the passengers. As sad as that seems it is probably one deterrent to hijackings. Those guys know that gun or not the odds are stacked against them once they are trapped on the plane with angry folks who are tired of having their rights trampled.

As for TSA, I suggest an intense universal training program and complete background checks. This comes with a pay grade that would attract qualified candidates.
