(5,185 posts)Seriously everyone, this is NOT animal abuse (and I'm a life long animal lover and advocate). This is just Sarah being her usual, clueless self. Tomorrow would not be soon enough for her and her family to disappear from the public eye forever, as far as I'm concerned. Nonetheless, as I've opined on several other threads, this "outrage" is just plain silly and any knowledgeable or professional animal person would likely agree with me unless she's encouraging the kid to use the family pets as stepping stools on every possible occasion. The sort of people who adore Palin would hardly be put off by her considering this a cute picture. They will probably be too busy setting their own pets up for similar "cute pet pix" to submit to Salmon Chanted Evening or similar sites.
