3. K/R. Both parties use Madison Avenue marketing strategies: polls, focus groups, etc.

 

And these tend to dehumanize, categorize, generalize.

Then they pander in very strategic ways.

For Democratic voters, they use obfuscation coupled with "treats" which are shallow gestures:

"We'll decriminalize pot, pay no attention to that war over there."

Fiscally, neither party is particularly honest.
