because some contrails dissipate immediately while others will still be up there slowly dissipating for an hour, are the reasons conspiracy theorists think it is the govt spreading chemicals.

On one hand, the probability is pretty small that this is actually occurring, but on the other hand I wouldn't put it past our govt to do that.
