There are striking similarities between radical Islam and fundamental Christianity

1. Anyone who does not believe exactly as they believe are heathens or infidels and will not go to heaven, pass GO or get 72 virgins
2. The woman is the property of and subservient to the man
3. The woman's sole purpose in life is to serve and pleasure her husband. Her needs are none of his concern
4. Children must do exactly as their parents say or be subject to corporal punishment
5. Schools are to be used to teach how to hate others; home schooling is especially preferred in America
6. All sex outside of marriage and other than to pro-create is sinful (except when they do it cuz they were horny)
6a. Having sex with a female or male prostitute can be overcome by appearing on tv and crying a lot
7. Divorce is sinful (except when they get one)
8. Abortion is the sin of all sins (except when they get one)
9. Thought must be controlled
10. Homosexuality is a perversion and can be cured through forced therapy or prayer (Christians) and death (Muslims)
11. The Bible or Quran are absolute, literal expressions of God or the Prophet

The list goes on and on but they are so similar. Fundamentalism requires that its beliefs be unquestioned and are immutable. Any questioning is blasphemous and subject to excommunication or death.
