They won't get the 'talk'.
They won't receive harsher punishment because they are colored.
They won't get ignored.
They won't have politicians speaking nastily about them because they belong to a certain race.
They won't get call thug, just a troubled teen.
They won't get called welfare queen even though they work their asses off.
They won't be asked why they speak so well, for their kind.
They won't live black in a nation that hates them for the crime of being descended from slaves.
Just stop trying to minimize the plight of african americans through derailment. It's not always about you or your kids. Ours are the ones suffering disproportionately. Allow us to focus on that without your derailment, please. Throwing yourself in to things in this way smacks of an innate sense of privilege. Your kids are not suffering from racism. At all. Why you put them in this, I do not know, unless it's to tell me yours are more important.
