The people let off the hook for torturing prisoners aren't going to be grateful. That's not in their nature. All those little euphemisms (waterboarding, stress positions, sleep deprivation, ugly visuals, etc.) our culture substitutes for torture merely grants permission to the Jose Rodriguezes to complain about their disgust when someone calls them on their despicable actions. Now Mr. Rodriguez gets to write a book about his crimes against humanity, pocket some more money to go with his government pension, and gripe about how some people don't fully appreciate his wonderful service to the country.

Well, thanks a fuck of a lot, Mr. Rodriguez. The next retaliatory attack we sustain should be called an act of Rodriguezism instead of terrorism. Will that make you feel all better, you criminal wad of shit?
