"Them" seems to be too much of a focus to me, seems you are pretty comfortable with fucking "us" that are already good and fucked as some weird way to get back at or punish "them" and hence we are having this conversation, stone refusal to accept most of us not in jail have to work and bring home a paycheck to survive, care for our families, and hopefully get out from under the best we can.
I also have to say that trying to prevent bad policy is not "borrowing trouble", it is stopping the advance of trouble coming down the pipe before it comes to roost right on your head. Are we supposed to wait for it to curb us and then add it to the shitpile we already have? That is crazy, we've seen this movie before, I'll pass on the 2nd reel if I can.
When Bush was trying to privatize Social Security nobody with any sense at all was saying pay that no mind, it is borrowing trouble and if they did I'd light into their silly ass without mercy. Nothing different here.
