(11 posts)I found a passage in a VG article that sort of matches your quote. The original reads:
"Larsgard har rullet ned vinduet. Skjellsordene hagler mot mor og sønn.
Ingen av dem merker at Mendoza nærmer seg.
- Så hører jeg et smell, og så ser jeg at blodet spruter utover rattet og dashbordet. Han har slått meg med knyttneven i nesen slik at den knekker, forklarer John Kristoffer."
The Google translator creates this faulty translation:
"Lars Farm has rolled down the window. The invective against shotguns mother and son.
None of them notice that Mendoza is approaching.
- So I hear a bang, and then I see the blood spurt out the steering wheel and dashboard. He has struck me with his fist in the nose so that it breaks, explains John Christopher."
The first paragraph should read more like: "Larsgard has rolled down the window. Curses hail against mother and son."
Honest mistake since the norwegian words for hail and shotgun are quite similar.
