Let's leave aside the difference between respecting/not respecting belief systems and respecting/not respecting people for now.
One could, just about, make a case that it's not actively unethical to respect even those belief systems whose stances on gay rights, women's rights, free speech, etc - I'm sure you can see where I'm going.
But, absolutely definitely, there is nothing whatsoever wrong with not respecting any religious belief, even the ones which are merely false and mistaken, and not actively unethical or wicked (which is a minority of them).
