As to the other remark in OP: Have you watched Pot Barons of Colorado? It's interesting to see what the dispensaries have to go through to be approved. Lots of money and no guarantee of acceptance, but if you are granted the license, it's big money.
However: Lots of $$$$, no banking services. The Feds ( Can you hear, Obama? ) need to approve banking for these businesses. They are putting good people at risk by forcing them to handle everything in cash and forcing them to hold cash. They are putting the employees at risk when it's payday by not allowing bank accounts for cannabis retailers and wholesalers.
Euflora - one of the companies featured - bought a bank to turn into a dispensary so they'd have their own vault.
It's ridiculous, when you can get a loan to sell liquor and get half your town drunk on the bank's dime.
We learned nothing from prohibition, except how to ruin good people with petty laws while the corrupt roam like Wildlings.
But it's not a skin color thing; it's a condition-of-the-soul thing.
