4. I agree about the "award" not driving me to see a film, either

Often I think it's a good marker of what NOT to waste your time and money on.

I go to the cinema to get out of my life for a bit, to laugh a little, maybe cry if it's absolutely necessary although there's enough to cry about in daily life, to see good things happen.

I don't go to be repulsed, disturbed, disgusted or terrified. but after all, I'm not in that key demographic (men aged 20–30 is a common target audience) and never was.
