5. I have not paid any attention to the Oscars in years.

I stopped watching the ceremony years ago. It's just a popularity contest, with all the cool kids telling each other how cool they are.

I do read movie reviews to help me decide which movies to go to. But what movie or director or supporting actor gets an Oscar never plays into that decision.
