They have and will continue to paint SSDI recipients as greedy takers. The fact that their voting base is way over-represented in SSDI demographics will be no deterrent at all to these attacks. They've got the "vote for your own demise" act down pat.

Qualify for or not, the recipient still paid into the trust fund and is entitled to collect.

No, someone who has not worked enough quarters cannot collect OASDI, only, if in need, SSI.
