The right wing party line, as far as I remember, was that if you make a policeman feel a little bit scared, then they have no option but to shoot you as many times as it takes to make you super-ultra-mega-dead.
This case boggles my mind. The police should be brought up on charges, since they obviously didn't follow "shoot anyone that intimidates you until you run out of bullets" procedure that our right wing friends insisted was the only option.
Ooooooorrrrrr, maybe, just maybe the police have options other than overwhelming lethal force? And every situation doesn't have to be resolved in a fatality?
