Indiana law provides that there be an Inspector, 2 Judges (one from each party) and 2 Clerks (one from each party).

The Inspector is held by a Democrat or Republican based on the results of the last Secretary of State election results using the results of that election in the county. Prior to this election about 33 counties had Democratic Inspectors and the remaining 59 counties or so had Republican Inspectors. This also determines the ballot order in the General Election under the same criteria.

With this ruling that White was not eligible it should also mean that all votes were wiped out for that office as they were not eligible votes. And that all 92 counties should have Democratic Inspectors.

Another consideration is that since the Republican Party failed to muster at least 10% of the votes for SoS they lose their majority party status and need to follow different laws. A political party must have at least 10% of the votes for SoS in order to include election of precinct committeemen on the ballot. Only major parties can appoint workers to an election board at each polling place.

Indiana code specifies that a "Major political party" is when either of the two (2) parties whose nominees received the highest and second highest numbers of votes statewide for secretary of state in the last election

This may decertify the Republican Party as a major party in Indiana.
