bellow 'so I oppose marriage equality'. That offended me and also the bulk of my Christian family who all support equality and did not much care to be told that they were not Christians in Obama's eyes.
He cast that first stone. Then he cast more stones. For years.
These acts of unkindness are not without results, and in that faith those who harm others are supposed to make amends.
Christians on this website rallied around for Rick Warren, days after he called gay people many vile things. This Party honored Warren for his vicious hate speech. LGBT people were hounded for objecting to those insults.
Religious people grant themselves warrant to preach against others, then later they say 'but we are like Jesus'.
It's not the religion that makes me cry, it's the stark hypocrisy and self service of the religious that makes a decent person weep.
