NFL teams, furnishing their own footballs? Excuse me? The league ought to be supplying, maintaining and guarding all balls for every game played. And let's have no protestations from them about excess costs involved---like Charlie Pierce said this week, the amount needed to keep footballs unmolested is probably less than the NFL currently spends on boutonieres.....
