She used to compete in beauty pageants, and for some reason the promoters insist on letting the contestants answer scripted questions. The contestants are rated on their answer, naturally, but also on their tone, expressiveness, poise, and just how many buzzwords they an cram into their allotted time. If you remember the Miss South Carolina (such as) blatherfest, you can see it in all its dubious glory. She got verbally tripped up early on, then just started hitting all the buzzwords and phrases she'd memorized.

Gov. Palin is the natural end product of a career spent mouthing buzzwords and catch phrases. Skim over her oral diarrhea and spot them for yourself: we have been blessed, evil media on the lookout for her, etc., etc., rounding off with mama grizzly.
