41. Actually, I have to challenge your assertion

that "the majority of men probably don't behave that way." A significant percentage of men DO behave this way, and it's time to acknowledge and address this reality.

I have been harassed and/or abused by men the majority of my 59 years on this planet. I have advocated for hundreds of women who have been abused and harassed by men. A brief perusal of the literature on the battered women's movement reveals a frightening percentage of women being abused by men (about a third, and this is widely believed to be an under-reported crime).

Crimes against women are NOT committed by a "small" percentage of men. The featured video cites that 70% of women in Lima, Peru experience street harassment. What percentage of men do YOU think are willing to harass women on OUR streets?

Until men start to shun their peers who rape, abuse, harass or otherwise disrespect women, we will NEVER see a sea change in the patriarchal precepts that tell men they are the superior gender and women that they exist for the pleasure of men.
