'they' finally decided to add Nurses to the list they use for most trusted profession-even though we were a profession for centuries. Nurses have been in either 1,2, or 3 ever since-usually #1 most trusted. Why the shortage? Many hospitals do not live up to most Nurse's standards-and they quit rather than put someones life in jeopardy. If you every come across a Nurse strike....you can bet the conditions are horrid, but the hospitals love to blame the 'greedy' Nurses for fighting mandatory overtime, safer staffing to improve patient outcomes and safety, and medical care for their OWN families.
