(8,614 posts)69. The USMC had dedicated snipers and special rifles for them before WW2.


They used a star gauged National Match 1903 with a Unertl 10X scope. This program started in 1942.

I'm a retired Vet. SEALs aren't snipers unless they absolutely have to be. Nor are Rangers.
