Her timing was good because Southerland was one of the worst candidates ever, painfully awkward campaign.

The sad part is she knows she would be out in two years when potentially a more competent opponent challenges here. She just made their job a whole lot tougher around here.

In the big picture I don't have a problem with her voting for stuff the Republicans would easily pass regardless, we need seats and unfortunately this is the way she has to play the game in order to win this seat. A Democrat way further to the left or a party line voter won't win this seat anytime soon.

My prediction is she wins the district again in 2016 with Hillary on the ticket. It will then be a battle in 2018 as the Republicans gain a few seats back that they will lose in that presidential ticket cycle.
