In reply to the discussion: Norwegian student risks 35 years in jail in the US - made a wrong turn [View all]Luce Nox
(19 posts)The *facts* presented so far are one sided, meaning from a Norwegian perspective. I am really wondering why there is nothing about this in the news here in the states that might shed some light or credibility or the opposite disputing what's out there now with facts and logic. From where I stand this entire story is sketchy from all sides and perspectives, as it's been presented so far. I think the majority of us just want some semblance of truth in this we can digest. Personally I am not satisfied that this man has really seen justice, not the way it should be in US at least.
Additionally I respect your opinion, and the service you have done, it can't be easy being out there in the chaos. And I'm sure you've seen too many times some story and the spin generated by any number of criminals. Most of us have not, but really it should not take a law enforcement agent background to discern between wrong and right.
