35. PSA: Park rangers at Kenneth Hahn State Park (Ladera Heights, CA) have told

my wife and me that it's also not cool to feed the ducks and other water fowl on Gwen Moore Lake. Apparently, humans feeding the ducks causes them to forget how to feed themselves and may actually harm them nutritionally. We now scrupulously avoid feeding the ducks our stale bread. So I'd encourage DU to think twice before feeding wild waterfowl also. (Not knowing much about wildlife management, I willingly defer to the park authorities on this one without question.)
