I have other friends whose parents have sheltered them from everything "bad" in the world. They can't deal with life at all. It makes me so sad. That is just irresponsible parenting. They think they're doing their kids a favor, but it really isn't hard to believe in God when you live in a vacuum and nothing bad ever happens to you in life.
